Point domain towards subdomain

We have a customer with that has a site with two subdomains:

store1.clientdomain.com
store2.clientdomain.com


He purchased two domains that he'd like to point to each of those domains.

www.store1.com he'd like to point towards store1.clientdomain.com
www.store2.com he'd like to point towards store2.clientdomain.com


How can I point these domain names towards his sub domains either in WHM, Cpanel, or in the DNS records?

If we add the domains as addon domains with the same folder as the current subdomains, will Cpanel have any problems?

I don't want the addon feature to delete any of the files or existing configuraitons.
