Did that, but I get this when trying to set the postgresql root pass:

    Setting up Postgres Config...Done
    Reloading Postgres...postmaster successfully signaled
    Done
Changing Password....psql: FATAL 1: IDENT authentication failed for user "postgres"
    Done
    Reloading Postgres...postmaster successfully signaled
    Done
The Postgres Password has been changed

And I get this when trying to create database as a user:

    Postgres Account Maintenance

    Database Created
Added the database test. psql: FATAL 1: IDENT authentication failed for user "postgres" psql: FATAL 1: IDENT authentication failed for user "postgres"

I have been told from cPanel guys that there is no PostgreSQL in Stable release but only edge. As I have stable release there is no PostgreSQL.

And I have already installed PostgreSQL on server but I don't have any GUI control over it like some kind of Admin

I am on stable and ran the postgresql install. I have the option change password and the option in client control panels to add db's. It is just that none of it works.

What about if I had previously installed PostgreSQL. Do I have to run install again just to appear on cPanel ?
