    Default Preventing Specific User to Run CRON

    hi,
    any ideas, how do i prevent a specific user to be able to use cron, he sends a lots of mail using a php script to his users who haven't logged into his matrimony site.

    Also is there any way to prevent his mysql scripts cause high memory loads ?

    You can remove crontab and mysql from the feature list assigned to this account.
    Either Zero Or Hundred...

    Blocking crontab use depends on your OS as different ones use different cron daemons. On most Linux distributions vixie cron is used and you can use /etc/cron.deny and /etc/cron.allow files (man crontab for details).
