Default preventing users from creating subdomains of domains that don't belong to them

We have a user that has done this, namely, he's created an account that is a subdomain of an existing domain that he doesn't own.

    for example,
    test.com registered to user A
    foo.com registered to user B

user B creates an account called foo.test.com and is successful.

Is there a way to prevent this? As test.com does not belong to user B.

    An interesting situation.

Haven't run across it myself and wonder if you have any of the first 3 options checked off, in WHM > Tweak Settings.

Might have to do some testing of my own on this and will look forward, to replies from others who have encountered this type of problem.

Interesting in that if foo.test.com got entered for the subdomain, cPanel should create the subdomain as foo.test.com.foo.com.

I am wondering how I can keep my resellers from creating subdomains using domains that belong to me or other users that are not their clients. For esample one of my resellers is creating subdomains like sub.galaxy-hosts.com They do this by creating a new account using sub.galaxy-hosts.com as the domain name.

go into tweak settings and uncheck the box

Allow users to Park/Addon Domains on top of domains owned by other users. (probably a bad idea)

That is the first thing I looked at and that box is not checked.
