Exclamation Problem with admin cp for Install cpaddons and manage cp addons

When I click on either of these links
    Install cPAddons
    Manage cPAddons
in WHM I get this error message:

The server was not able to find the document (./cgi/cpaddons.pl) you requested.
Please check the url and try again. You might also want to report this
error to your web hosting provider.

I am trying to install Fantastico. I have followed the instructions perfectly. I am stumped right here! Desperately need heLP!

My cpanel was bought from hostdime, and because they don't host my site, they won't help. My host, rackspace, says they can't help, it's not their issue. I am totally bummed.

Have you tried contacting Fantastico about the error message if that is part of their installation instructions? Fantastico is developed by Netenberg, which has a forum at this location:

    https://netenberg.com/#forum.html

You might want to try a forced cPanel update before contacting them to see if that might fix the issue first:

    Code:
    /scripts/upcp --force
