Problem with e-mail and form mail script

Hello,

I have a problem with one of our accounts. Basically there email is sent to them via smtp and doesnt get handled by cpanel only there website does. Basically when he uses the formmail script the email gets caught by the cpanel default address and thus not making it to there external exchange server.

How do i change this so cpanel knows not to handle the email and just to the form mail end up at the correct server destination.

if you have a site with remote email, (ie you have a non-local mx server), then you need to remove this domain from /etc/localdomains and enter it in /etc/remotedomains - this will make sure that email is sent to the remote server.

Next time, please do some searches of the forums here... since this issue has been covered repeatedly.
