Problem with mail after account copy

Hello,

We're experiencing problems with individual users viewing old mail after we copy from one server to the next.

This has happened on both accounts that we've moved. The email is viewable by the main id that owns the domain (log into horde as the domain owner then select the inbox dropdown box and all the mail account's inboxes and folders are listed there select one and you can see all the old mail). However if I sign in as an individual mail account user then the old email is not in the inbox or sent folders. I've tried the mail permission script and the mail troubleshooter script all to no avail.

Anyone else experiencing this? Please help!

Just an update this was caused by uid and user path being different on the server I moved from. Updated /home/user/etc/passwd and passwd,v with the right uid and path and all is well.

open your /etc/passwd file and search for the username of the problematic domain you will see something like

:32164:665:username

in this line
32164:665
is ur UID now goto /home/username/etc

and edit your passwd and passwd,v files and for all the users give this UID instead of whatever is given there it will work
