Problem Setting up account on WHM

I am very new to cpanel and have just started using it. As I was go through, I have encountered this problem.

I have created an account and it is not showing under "MODIFY AN ACCOUNT"

Please let me know, what could be the problem and how to resolve it

Are you using root access, or a reseller? If a reseller, was the account set up under root? Maybe the owner of the account needs to be changed.
