Problem while installin cPanel - Yum not able to locate the glibc

Hi,

The following error message appear when trying to install cpanel on fedora 9 fresh install :

Your operating system's rpm update method (yum) was not able to locate the glibc package. This is an indication of an improper setup. You must correct this error before you can proceed.

Can someone help me please to solve that ?

This likely means that yum has not been configured to use repositories where the necessary system rpms are available.

cPanel requires a working package management system in order to install system specific rpms on your server.
