Problems opening ports with CSF GUI

I'm having issues opening ports on my server using CSF. for instance I'm trying to open port 27015 TCP & UDP so I added those to the allow list in CSF and restart the services. but the ports still aren't open. I'm running this on a centos 64bit box. Any help with be appreciated.
