Problems sending mails...

Good Afternoon,

i have two servers, and they are equaly configured, but, the clients that i have in one of this two servers can't send e-mails, i compare the configuration of the two servers and everything appears to be equal. Can anyone help me please? What can be the problem? Give all the causes that probably cause this problem.

Hi,

His he using outlook express for sending mails ?

Possible solutions :

1. try with the IP address for smtp and pop server
2. try with the username alone
3. enable "my server requires authentication"
4. check for the proper port no :
smtp : 25
pop : 110
5. make sure you have NOT enabled norton antivirus. remove it if you have.
6. Restart POP service in WHM.

7. try restarting exim and bind
service exim restart and
service named restart.
