probles with Net::AIM [ whm notification via aim ]

Has anyone ever noticed aim notification in whm working?
The scripts /script/sendaim isn't working either ... i don't know if its an issue with cpanel, it seems more to be an issue with the module itself. coz the test script coming with Net::AIM isn't working either.
I tried emailing the module author viz Aryeh Goldsmith <perlaim@aryeh.net>,
but got an immediate bounce message

Anyone got a solution?

It worked for me attimes.. But not everytime..
