I'm having a problem with /usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty/bin/analog. It's causing the CPU, and Memory loads to go through the roof. What does this binary do? And is there any way to stop it running on a certain host?

Thanks mate. I'll try this out. I'm hoping it causes the massive server loads to stop. It's getting stupid.
Server crashing caused by statistics program processing is usually caused by one
or more accounts on your server having unusually large log files.
I would look in /etc/httpd/domlogs and run "ls -lSr" and take a note of the size
of the log files at the end of the directory display. May have to deletes some logs.
Likewise, you might want to check /etc/httpd/logs/error_log and access_log and
make sure their size has not gotten unmanageable.
Now with that done, I would enable the setting in WHM's tweak settings to have
the log files cleared after statistics program runs to prevent the logs from
growing out of control again.
As far as Cpanel statistics program choices go:
Analog sucks for lack of a better word
Webalizer is okay but a bit slow
AwStats is the best statistics
I generally disable 'Webalizer' and 'Analog' and leave AwStats
Do you enable:
"Awstats Reverse Dns Resolution"
