    Question [Process Manager] migration

    Hello,

Some body can explain why in the process manager i'm seeing this:

    Code:
Pid	Owner	Priority	CPU % ▴	Memory %	Command
    7 (Trace) (Kill)	root	- 98.9	0.0	[migration/1]
    35 (Trace) (Kill)	root	- 74.2	0.0	[migration/10]
    29 (Trace) (Kill)	root	- 66.7	0.0	[migration/8]
    47 (Trace) (Kill)	root	- 56.6	0.0	[migration/14]
    41 (Trace) (Kill)	root	- 47.0	0.0	[migration/12]
    6 (Trace) (Kill)	root	- 41.4	0.0	[migration/0]
    14 (Trace) (Kill)	root	- 36.5	0.0	[migration/3]
    44 (Trace) (Kill)	root	- 26.0	0.0	[migration/13]
    38 (Trace) (Kill)	root	- 25.5	0.0	[migration/11]
    17 (Trace) (Kill)	root	- 20.0	0.0	[migration/4]
    50 (Trace) (Kill)	root	- 19.7	0.0	[migration/15]
    23 (Trace) (Kill)	root	- 13.0	0.0	[migration/6]
    11 (Trace) (Kill)	root	- 11.6	0.0	[migration/2]
Since i'm not doing any migration or something like that, i cannot understand what is that process?? why is using so much CPU? how can i fix it?

    Thanks for your time.

This is part of the linux kernel. You can safely ignore these processes.

    Hello,

The [migration/#] processes are a part of the linux kernel and are required by linux to function properly. You should not kill these processes because that can lead to system instability.

Based on the output from posted above, no action is needed, and you can ignore these processes.
