Proftpd will only connect and log into to the accounts listed in /etc/passwd and not any of the ones made by cpanel(in the user ftp manager).

I tryed to restart the ftp service and it failed to start.

I tryed deinstalling proftpd and running sysup, that didn't fix it, i also tryed upcp, and that didnt fix it. I also tryed Synchronizing the FTP Passwords and that did not work.

It takes a full server reboot to get proftpd to even start again.
