    Default Proftpd and password problem

    Redhat 6.2 / Cpanel 4.8.0-78

Some customers, 2 or 3 that we know of on our server, are having trouble logging in to FTP. Their password is correct and it works for CPanel, but not for FTP.

I have tried changing passwords, resyncing the passwords, etc., but still FTP does not accept their login.

    Has anyone had this problem?

If the FTP username is &ftpuser&, try using &ftpuser@domain.com& as the username instead. On my Redhat 7.2 system, if I use the correct ftp server address (ftp.domain.com) I can use just the username, otherwise I have to use ftpuser@domain.com.

Does that make sense? I don't know how else to word it.
