Default /~ protection needs to be removed.

    Hey,

I enabled bandwidth leech protection in easyapache thinking it would be safe. Turns out, too many users use it before their domain is setup so I want to remove it.

I tried going through easy apache again but it's still restricting access. Anything I have to remove manually from httpd.conf?

Why not just comment the module in httpd.conf and restart apache? No need to recompile.

    Find the following lines:

    LoadModule bwprotect_module libexec/mod_bwprotect.so
    AddModule mod_bwprotect.c

Put a hash mark in front of them so they look like this:

    #LoadModule bwprotect_module libexec/mod_bwprotect.so
    #AddModule mod_bwprotect.c

    Save, close & restart apache.
