Hi,

I am having the following problem with pure-ftpd. Most of the reseller ftp accounts don't work. When I switch to proftpd it works. Accounts owned by root don't have this problem and works correctly. I have opened a bugzilla but they told me the following "This is a technical support issue, please submit a ticket to support.cpanel.net.". I have this problem on more then one server, so excludes that only this server has a problem.

I am running the following on two servers that are having this problem:

WHM 10.3.1 cPanel 10.4.0-E243
RedHat 7.3 i686

WHM 10.3.1 cPanel 10.4.0-E244
Fedora i686

I have tried to switch to current, release but with no result. The error is going on for a week now.

I have tried to "Synchronize FTP Passwords" but with no success. I am now forced to run proftpd.

A anybody some advice on how I can fix this problem or if somebody else is having this problem.
