hope someone have any idea what could be the problem...
pureftp is rejecting the password but of course the password is correct.
We didi try upcp, ftpupdate, etc, nothing is fixing it

Maybe you should try resetting the ftp password that may help you. If it's your main ftp account the password is same as the cpanel.

i did that 10 times, but was very odd, then opened a ticket at the DC and they got it fixed, after asking them they said the run /scripts/ftpupdate, that is the same as rsync :-(
So not sure why worked for them and not for me.

hi, if this is happening via a browser, i solved the problem by assigning an ip to the account.
