Pure-ftpd don't work with aditional accounts

On server, pure-ftpd don't work with aditionals accounts.

user@domain.com domain.com

All times, show a error on autentification.

Could not open host esrecfotografia.lomejordeinternet.net: username and/or password was not accepted for login.

Cpanel support say me: Switch to Proftpd and after switch to Pure-ftpd.

Switch to ProFtpd and work.

Switch to Pure-ftpd and don't work.

Strangeous solutions for a problem, but not work.

Any ideas?

Dear speckados,

Please check with your inetd.conf or your xinetd file that is starting proftpd. Which user is proftpd originally started as? This should be root. This configuration change might solve your problem.
