Hi --
ref: pureftp with ssl
I don't see port 990 listening on my cpanel server. I see no settings within cpanel to turn on/off ftp w/ ssl...but logic would dictate since pureftp supports it that we can use it, right?
Any advice/pointers?

pure-ftpd supports FTP over SSL/TLS on the standard FTP port (21). I don't believe that there's a cPanel option to change this. You can modify the pure-ftpd configuration by editing /etc/pure-ftpd.conf and restarting pure-ftpd.
