I have a strange requirement from one if my customer and i don't seem to find any possible solution for the same.

The requirement is to have 5 ftp users for an account. In these accounts, 4 users will have READ AND WRITE permissions, BUT NO DELETE / OVERWRITE PERMISSIONS. The last and 5th user has all permissions.

Can anyone help me in getting this solved ??

I did notice this in proftpd.conf

<Directory />
AllowOverwrite on
HideGroup wheel
HideUser root
</Directory>

Now my requirement is allowing one user out of 5 for overwriting / deletion. Rest all users no deletion / overwrite permission.

P.S. I use pureftpd on this box.
