Is it possible to do a serverwide FTP session control listing all current ftp logins and transfers either in WHM (preferably) or via SSH?

This is not supported in WHM, but you can do this via SSH as root.

If you are using ProFTPD, you would use:

/usr/bin/ftpwho

If you are using PureFTPd, you would use:

/usr/sbin/pure-ftpwho

This command works the same, for pure-ftpd of course:

service pure-ftpd status

[eth00]

FTP also logs everything to /var/log/messages so you can grep it if you would like to look at what has been run in the recent (or not so recent) past.
