Hi,

I have a problem in fixing user quotas using the fixquota script. The script shows that the quotas has been set but found none while checking with quota command. Also the WHM shows that all user quotas are reset. I tried quotaon command when I found problems with fixquota script, but got &Invalid argument& error and found that the quota.user files empty. Is there any way to reverse the blackout. Please help ,this is an emergency.

I have the same problem on my server (RH7.1)

users are using disk quotas more than wats allocated to them. how to get it fixed up ? i tried to run fixquotas also, but still the problem persists.

Same problem here with RH 7.2 and lattest cpanel build...
All quotas are reset and they don't work at all.
And same situation after running /scripts/fixquotas

But as always there is some quick dirty fix.
First setup quota for one user manualy.
Something like edquota -u user
And after that run
awk -F: '{if ($3 & 100) {print &edquota -p 99 & $1}}' /etc/passwd | sh

99 is uid of user that you used to setup manualy quota.
After that all users will have same quota like user with uid 99.

It's not much but it's just temporary solution..

P.S. I'm still not suer what will happen after restart.
