Hello I have a big problem on the server.
If I look in a account off my costumer than cpanel says that he uses 23MB diskspace.

But when I look into his files he used more than 250MB of diskspace.
All the files are in the public_html/files/05-07-05/ directory.
all the files are in php.

I Am ussing Fedora core 2
WHM 10.1.0 cPanel 10.2.0-S83

Probably owned by another user. What does "ls -al" says you?

the files are owend off the same user. This are search files for his search engine.

what do you mean about is-al?

than type is -al [enter]

I see this line:

Is this correct that he says nobody?
I checked also other accounts but all the same.

I checked other servers (DA) and here is it good.

That's normal on cPanel servers. Don't worry about that...

Do:

cd /home/theuser/public_html/files/05-07-05/
ls -al

List it here...

proberly this files are maked by php and give the username nobody?
because php is running as nobody?

I have this same problem white DA, here gives it the uid apache.

Proberly a problem white php suexec or somthink?

chown -R jouwstij /home/jouwstij/public_html
(to change all files and dirs to the user jouwstij)

This should fix the issue. Maybe you could run a cronjob once a day to do that for you?
