Raw Apache Log Download / Raw FTP Log Download don't work

When I try to download a Raw Apache Log Download or Raw Ftp Log Download in WHM, it just returns a "Page cannot be displayed error". Is this normal? And how do I gain access to the logs if this happens?

SSH to the server and you should be able to view any log file.

I am familar with using SSH, but not familiar with how to bring up logs in SSH. What command would I use? And how would I then download the log?

There are several commands to view a document including: cat or less

Unless you are Linux OS savvy, otherwise I suggest you use the following applications to download/upload files directly to root:
filezilla : http://filezilla.sourceforge.net/

SecureFX : http://www.vandyke.com/products/securefx/index.html
