rdate.cpanel.net error in /script/upcp

Hi,

The last two days /scripts/upcp output starts with the following line on all of my servers :

rdate: couldn't connect to host rdate.cpanel.net: Connection refused

Manually accessing it shows the following output :

root@xxxxxx [~]# rdate rdate.cpanel.net
rdate: couldn't connect to host rdate.cpanel.net: Connection refused
root@xxxxxx [~]#
root@xxxxxx [~]# rdate -s rdate.cpanel.net
root@xxxxxx [~]# rdate rdate.cpanel.net
rdate: [rdate.cpanel.net]       Fri Jul 28 08:55:29 2006

It looks like it's sometimes able to access rdate.cpanel.net and sometimes not.

Any ideas what this can be? E.g. are the servers blocked by one or more of the rdate.cpanel.net servers?

If you have a firewall , just open the outbound port 37 (tcp and udp).
