RDNC Problem

I got an this error messages about the rdnc:

Apr 20 16:56:50 fast named[5362]: loading configuration from '/etc/named.conf'
Apr 20 16:56:50 fast named[5362]: /etc/named.conf:1: open: /etc/rndc.key: permission denied
Apr 20 16:56:50 fast named[5362]: loading configuration: permission denied
Apr 20 16:56:50 fast named[5362]: exiting (due to fatal error)

What am I doing?

/scripts/fixndc
/scripts/fixrndc
if still not working try generating a new key.

it didnt work, how can ı generate a new key ?

rename the "rndc.key" files in your named.conf to something else.
run /scripts/fixndc again.

Better yet, check the owner of /var/named/chroot/named/rndc.key

This is probably set to root:named , but needs to be named:named.

Fix this with "chown named:named /var/named/chroot/named/rndc.key"
