Default Really, really sick of Cpanel

Finally I am fed up completely. The only way Cpanel developers are going to start taking care of the way the code and make this control panel work the way it should is if people just stop buying it.

Between last night and this evening, I have 2 different servers on two different networks with the identical problem. Nothing has been changed in these servers except some updates from within WHM (yeah, I know, what a shock right).

Now, both servers randomly refuse to connect to any services. You can pink the servers, but you cannot login to WHM, Cpanel or even SSH.

My customers are getting really tired of this.

Is anybody else experiencing this problem and how have you managed to correct it?

There was a problem with /scripts/editquota script.
It eats CPU & Memory and costs us two reboots.

They have fixed the issue - run /scripts/updatenow

We do feel that it is inappropriate as we are running STABLE for getting STABLE work, not for fixing here & there.

Have anyone found the way to push on cPanel developers?!

I don't get it. How does cpanel work so well for some, so bad for others?
    Bad tweakage maybe?

Running CURRENT here with no issues.

It all depends on release used. Last editquota bug was related to STABLE & RELEASE versions.

However I'm strongly sure that most problems are the guilty of cPanel.
During last three months there were at least three big problem which was out of our control - jus because cPanel updated.

Imagine - running STABLE version we are in need to expect something "new" of each and every update! This is not appropriate.

Had the same exact error. Matter of fact, it brought my whole server to its knees for about 6 hours yesterday. talk about some POed customers.

I was thinking that it was associcated with a transfer that I just did of some accounts, but I guess not.
