    Default Recover from Disk Crash

The boot sector crashed on my CentOS hard disk. My hosting provider loaded the OS and cPanel on a new drive. They mounted the old drive for access to the data.

Is it possible to use cPanel's account import utility to recover the accounts directly from the old hard disk?

    thanks,
    Tim

I do have a backup. It was performed nightly from the option found in WHM. I was under the impression that it is a backup of each account. I'm concerned about restoring the main configuration though, such as dns records etc. (I only know enough to be dangerous)

Would the rsynch option that you mentioned, include things like nameserver settings, dns, etc?
