You should login to SSH and run up2date -u and update your kernel as necessary with up2date -uf kernel OR kernel-smp (you may also need to update kernel-utils, kernel-source, etc.)
redhat-release is commonly missed as well. Check your up2date config and ensure you're on the latest update 5 as well. New kernels have been made available to fix some serious issues.

hi
i upgrade my kernel from source, so i only need to upgrade my rpm, for this i need to run only up2date -u? this step dont will upgrade also my kernel? ( i dont want) up2date -u will upgrade only the packages that i have install?
thank you
If you run the following you will see what would be installed:
up2date -l
If you want to skip certain modules make sure you have configured your pkgskiplist in:
up2date --config
You can get lists of apps to skip by searching the forum for pkgskiplist. You'll possibly have to add mod_utils* to that list if you compile your own kernel.

ok many thanks, but so if i run sysup and rpmup not is the same to run up2date?
Not always. They only generally update what cPanel itself needs and may not include other apps that your OS needs.
