redhat linux 9.0

I am reinstalling everything on my server now, because i only had 2 gig set aside for my /VAR partition, which was definitely not enough because my mail clogged it up in less than a week.

So we used a symlink to fix up the solution, which was a bad move because overtime all kinds of other errors popped up.

I had redhat 7.3 installed before, but now that 9.0 is supposedly supported, I want to check the latest pool of success in the field.

Is it a "GO" for Redhat 9.0 .. or a hold for now, and stick all the way back with 7.3? or 8.0?

have the major bugs with redhat linux 9.0 / cpanel compatibility been worked out and maybe even throw in exim 4 in this thread too?

if i go with 7.3.. do you think cpanel's updates will take the worry out of upgrading to 9.0 to maintain the updates?

for me personally it was to make sure i can have the most up to date system since updates won't be coming out for 7.3 (albeit 7.3 is currently the most stable)

I picked 8 bymistake, but I am going to go for 9.0 since I called up CPanel and got the safe feeling that if any issues do come up with 9.0 .. i will be supported

This way I can feel safe with getting the latest updates for a longer time to come without upgrading, and still have a supported cpanel

I have both 7.3 and 9. 7.3 is stable and trustworthy. I choosed 9 on my other server because I know I will have to upgrade this 7.3 to higher version sometimes, so better do it in the start. First of all you can't install RPM package from WHM yet. Secondly for WHM to work properly I had to upgrade to 7.0.5 EDGE version, which I don't really like but it's the only way to make it work. And when installing apache you must uncheck Downgrade to 4.3.1 in PHP options. Most of the problems are caused because of newer glibc which is not 100 % compatible with old software (even Informix has problem).
