RedHat 7.3 has officially been dropped by RedHat so there won't be additional Kernel upgrades or patches directly from RedHat unless you count Fedora Legacy updates, but it's Free.

RedHat ES 3. Its a little costly but you get official support & patches through RedHat for kernel upgrades & such.

Honestly I'd suggest ES3 just so if something truely blows up on the server that's not related to cpanel you can call in for support. But... many skilled people check & respond on the forums so if you don't need this instant support they'll be able to help you if you're using 7.3 ES3 Debain SuSE *BSD etc.

RHEL isn't ready for production with cPanel yet. Tons of problems on different platforms, and you're recommending it?
Yes, RH has support but not for cPanel apps!

RHEL is problematic, for sure. I left one NOC because of problems, and the new noc took about a month to get things working right, though I am not 100% that cPanel should be blamed. In our case it was incompatibilities between hardware and the kernel.

They put a tweaked kernel in place about a week ago and I have nto had a lick of problems.

I think the NOC more than anything is typically to blame.
