Redirect problems using variables

After upgrading to newest cPanel version (10.0.0-RELEASE 143), adding redirects containing ? has become a problem (anything.com?something). It's actually possible to add redirects containing ? in the list in cPanel but the redirect doesn't work. Redirects in the redirect list, added in earlier versions still works, but not the new ones.

I notice that cPanel has changed the way in writing to the .htaccess file so I assume a new system for redirect is added?! Any solutions on this?

I'm having the same problem. Using cpanel redirects, anything after the ? gets cut - and sometimes added at the end of the line in brackets.

If I use .htaccess with a redirect or redirectmatch, the same thing happens.

Is this normal behaviour?

I'm trying to do something with mod_rewrite but that's not so easy since I don't know what I'm doing. A simple redirect would be nice ...
