    Default Remote authentication

Is it possible to use cPanel usernames/passwords for authentication in other scripts on the same server. I want to create a customer centre that customers can use the same login details. Has anyone else done this? Any ideas or suggestions before I dive into it?

Anyone got any ideas about this? Or has no-one tried it?

If no one responds with a viable solution, try the reverse. It's very simple to create a script that changes the users cPanel password, so as customers sign up let them create a password to your customer center and use that password when you create the customers cPanel account.
