    Default remote mysql access

    Hello
Has anyone heard of a program called MySql Administrator?

I'm having a hell of a time getting it to access a user database on a cpanel machine.
Its a shared account - hosts have been added - port is open..

The program itself you can find here
    http://dev.mysql.com/downloads/administrator/1.1.html

Although now i'm wondering if its not a program thats supposed to be used for remote access - but i could be wrong.

    Help please
    Thanks

    cPanel/Enkompass Access Level

    Root Administrator

    Default

Have used it although it might lack some features of other mysql admin programs like Navicat.

In order to use it direct you need to allow networking in your my.cnf which is generally considered less secure than thru SSH tunneling - which is how we use it.
