remove POP account doesn't remove all files
Hi All,
I just used add/remove accounts to remove a POP account containing 50Mb of unwanted junk emails. But no disk space was freed up. Reason: /home/accname/mail/username WAS deleted /home/accname/mail/accname/username was NOT deleted. Is this just me, or should Cpanel be taking care of the deletion of all files asoociated with a POP account when it is deleted? A feature request perhaps? Thanks for your comments. cPanel.net Support Ticket Number:

RE: remove POP account doesn
Dear spaceman,
Cpanel will have a backup of the mails associated with a POP account, so the disk space will not be freed up when the pop account is deleted. You have to manually delete those mails or you can run a script to automate this process. Regards, cPanel.net Support Ticket Number: |

How much better it would be if, when it came to deleting a POP account, there was a check box option that said
"Delete all files, including backups, associated with this POP account?" Usability - gotta love it. :-) cPanel.net Support Ticket Number:

same probs with my boxes also. The files don't get deleted. If a user selects to delete a pop account, the files should be deleted, and not kept.
Nick, please help fix this asap. cPanel.net Support Ticket Number:
