Default Removed Web Protect but isn't removing for one customer

I had the web protect setup on a sites root directory and I removed it and it seems to work fine for everyone but one user. On one subdirectory in the main directory it pops up and asks him for the network username/password.

The strange part is it is only on a sub-directory and not on the main directory that actually had the password before. Any passwords he enters in will not work, but if he hits cancel it will let him in.

I am thinking maybe it is something inside internet explorer that is causing this....anyone else have this problem before?

Sounds like an IE cache problem to me. Usually they will go away within a few hours. The best thing you could do for yourself and him is recommend that he upgrade to Firefox.

That is funny becuase the first thing I told him was to switch to firefox...I told him if he switches he will never go back...
