Reseller Account Owner

By default, reseller accounts are created with the owner root. Now when this is performed the domain does not list in their reseller whm of course. Now if we change the owner of the reseller account itself to the reseller account name, it then appears in the WHM account list for them. Is there any negative to changing the reseller account owner to itself?

No, theres no negatives. Just whomever has control and where the resources are allocated from, thats all. Of course with the reseller owning his own, they would need control of the domain so it then shows up in their account.

There is also an option to allow resellers to own their domain as well so they can manage that and yet not change the root owner.
