Default reseller can see all packages

Hi, I have a strange problem.

I have several reseller accounts, when i login to WHM using one of reseller account, and clicked a "create a new account", I can see all packages that have been created by another resellers from PACKAGE drop down menu. how to prevent a reseller see another reseller's packages? This can permit a reseller create a new account using another reseller's packages.

WHM > Reseller Center > Edit Privileges/nameserver > then select "Disallow creation of accounts with packages that are not global or not owned by this user"

packages created by root can be seen by everyone....this is weird...i want the packages created by root to be available only to new signups, and therefore should not be seen by my resellers when they create their own clientbase (they can use my plans as their plans????)

Gonna bump this because I am also wondering if there is a solution. I know there must be because I have a reseller account elsewhere that does not. (unless that box is set up for resellers only)

I do not want my packages viewable by a reseller when they add accounts.

Thumbs up I solved the Problem, Same Problem: Now Solved

    This is Easy to Fix:

First as Root, Create a Package with Username (NOT ONLY PACKAGE NAME)....that is:
    username_plan1

    after you create the Package.....

    Go to Create New Account.....

Select: Username_plan1 from Down (that is Package List)
While Creating the Account...in the Username Field enter (username) the Username You Created the Package with.

after that...Go To ResellerCenter>>Privilages>>Disallow creation of accounts with packages that are not global or not owned by this user (Select it) and Save it.

Also Dont forget to Restrict the IPs from Reseller Center>>Manage IP Delegation

that's it, Your User (Reseller) will only be able to See Plan1 in his Package.

I too had same problem, I Solved....

    Good Luck

    Thanks! Worked great!!

Long and short, I just name my packages root_package-1, root_package-2, etc

Then only when logged into WHM as root can they be seen. Resellers see only ones they create.

    Thanks again!
