Default Reseller creating account with IP

    Hi,

Some of our resellers have IP addresses, when they goto create the account they fill it all out, but when they click the ok button it puts the account onto the shared IP, it just physically wont create the account on the IP its been told to...

What could cause this? What can i check before submitting a ticket to cPanel.....

    Thanks

When they are creating the accounts in WHM, are they ticking the little box at the top for IP?

go to Reseller Center choose the reseller > Manage Ip Delegation and limit the IPs that reseller can use to the one you allocated to him.
Then go to Manage Main Shared/Ipless Ip and do the same
    that should do the trick.
I always use the reseller main IP as the resellers shared IP
and if you want to give the reseller extra IPs so they can create dedicated IP hosting (needed for SSL) you need to go to Manage Ip Delegation and tick the extra IPs you wanna allocate to them

Ive done this, they can select the IP from the drop down list without any problems, but when the actuall account gets created, it goes on the shared IP not the one selected Unless the root user does it for them....

in reseller center, "edit privileges/nameservers" there is a box called "Allow Creation of Packages with a Dedicated IP"

    Is that ticked?

    It sure is.

I also setup a test package that aloud dedicated IPs, ever if a reseller selects an ip from the drop down list, it will only use the main shared IP.
