reseller overselling problem

Seem to have an issue with limit resources / overselling allowed.

I have checked

Limit Accounts that "user" can create by Resource Usage
I also put actual "max allowed" disk / bandwidth in resource usage column on right.
I have checked overselling for both.

I was assuming that overselling allows them to create packages bigger than their max allowed, but still NOT use more than allowed. I must have been wrong

I tested a small reseller account with 10mb disk / 500mb bandwidth. Created a package with 50mb disk / 1000mb bandwidth. It allowed it, good.

Then, I uploaded more than 10mb of data, it allowed even though max allowed disk for the account is 10mb.

Anyone else can duplicate this?

I'm on cPanel 10.x R-146

That's what the overselling is meant to do, I thought that as well. That is, a reseller can create accounts with amounts that total more than his/her allowances, but can only use up to the maximum they're allocated.

I noticed you said "uploaded" - did you test against downloading? I don't know if the limits apply to uploading, I thought they were downloading only.
