Reseller resource usage limits

Hello,

I'd like to know if it's possible to calculate the quota/bandwidth usage of accounts owned by a reseller towards the total amount of quota/bandwidth that reseller has without using the Account Resource Limits.

I thought that was done automatically so I was kind of surprised when these Resource Limits were introduced...
I already have about 50 resellers on several servers and would hate to have to adjust all of those manually every time they get an account upgrade.

How do other hosts solve this problem?
