    Default Restart Failing Services Automatically

    Hi

Is there a script for cron or a place in the whm that will check to see if a service is running
and if it is not running to have it automatically restart it?

I know that the service monitor can be set to monitor services - but- it doesn't check often enough

I have seen the emails that cpanel sends out saying about automagically trying to restart a service -
but - that doesn't monitor the services oftenenough to prevent the CPU load from going sky high very quickly.

I need to have mysql monitored every minute and automatically restart as soon no response from mysql

    Thanks
    Audrey

chkservd monitor services every 5 minutes. If you want to have a service monitored every minute, you will have to write down your own script and schedule a per minute cronjob.
