    Default restarting named

    hi how I can make cpanel to do after adding a subdomain automatycli restarting the bind?? is any way to do it?? because thats very important for me. I want cpanel to restart bind after adding subdomains or domains.

    I believe it already does. That is, it does an rndc reload to load and new/changed records.

    ok check it out. I added user and i gave him account in domain.com and he want to create subdomain but it doesnt want to work I mean adding the subdomain to this user if he want to add by himself

    I just tried it myself. Added a subdomain through the user cPanel interface and it automatically updates DNS and reloads the zone file:

    Feb 15 21:19:45 www named[9868]: loading configuration from '/etc/named.conf'
    Feb 15 21:19:45 www named[9868]: no IPv6 interfaces found
    Feb 15 21:19:45 www named[9868]: zone mydomain.com/IN: loaded serial 2004021500
    Feb 15 21:19:45 www named[9868]: zone mydomain.com/IN: sending notifies (serial 2004021500)

    So, there's either a problem with your WHM/cPanel installation, or your DNS isn't setup correctly.
