    Default Restore Account Problem

I had the main HD in my server replaced as it was faultly, so I backed up the entire /home partition onto the new drive.

I've then compressed the home directories and used /scripts/restorepkg to setup the accounts on the new HD.

All has worked well for most accounts, but one paticular account keeps giving my problems when trying to restore.

    Trying via WHM I get:

    Code:
    Searching /home....
    Found grads.tar.gz !
    Extracting tarball...................
    ...............
    Done

    Extracting Domain....Done

Sorry, the copy failed. Unable to find the cpanel user file. Is the archive missing (cwd: /home/cprestore loaded grads/cp/grads)?
    checked 13 files.....
    And via SSH I get:

    Code:
    cPanel restorepkg 2
    Force Mode: no
    Reseller Privs Restore: yes

    Searching /home....
    Found grads.tar.gz !
    Extracting tarball...................
    ...............
    ...............
    ...............
    ...............
    Done
    Extracting Domain....Done
Sorry, the copy failed. Unable to find the cpanel user file. Is the archive missing (cwd: /home/cprestore loaded grads/cp/grads)?
    checked 13 files.....
    Any suggestions?

    Default

It seems that the /var/cpanel/users/username is missing from your old hard drive that cause while creating the backup it miss that file and it creating the problem.

You can manually recreate the domain and then untar the zip manually and restore the account.
