Default Restore Recreating DNS From Scratch?

I am restoring multiple accounts to my server and wish to use the accounts original IP's. However, the restore is recreating the DNS from scratch and assigning random IP's. Is there a way to restore the accounts and have them retain the original IP's?

IP addresses are considered by the backup system to be server-specific information thus are not contained within the backups.

The IP info is actually in the backup files and is shown during the restore. The restore process recreates the DNS from scratch even though the required info to recreate the DNS as it was is in the backup file.
