Default Restoring DNS and Sites After OS Reload

My server was recently compromised. Consequently I have asked to have an OS Relaod on a second HDD with my primary HDD being slaved in for data retrieval. I am under the impression that there is a text file, or files that contain all of my DNS info (I host my own DNS) and wonder whats the easiest way to restore that?

After that, what's the best approach to restoring the sites?

Any help will be greatly appreciated
