resume download

(This may be a stupid question but) I have never really had a large enough file to test this on my server, but is the server by default setup to resume a download from a broken point. (For example you get disconnected from the net and when you get back online it starts downloading from the point you left off at).

It's not be default. But most ftp ptograms will do this.

I am also wondering how to allow download resumne from a browser url download.
