you might have setup a rkhunter cronjob to run nightly and send you the scan details via email.

    check in /etc/cron.daily/ folder.

    Hey,

It looks the "-cronjob" option you have specified on the cronjob line is wrong, try removing it and see if the cronjob runs correctly, otherwise paste the cronjob line you have here.

    Hello ,

The problem might be because of my CSF Firewall ?
i have install the same program in many servers without problem , the only different between servers are firewall !

    Hiya,

If you look at the rkhunter -h output you will see -cronjob does not exist but --cronjob does.

    # rkhunter -h | grep -i cron
--cronjob Run as a cron job

Try modifying the cronjob and add the extra "-"

Hello , i have just wanted set a Cron-job in my Cpanel and i have confronted the below error :
/usr/bin/crontab permissions are wrong (6755). Please set to 4755.

The RKhunter problem might be because of the same issue ? i mean because of permissions ?
